Warm-up will continue through Wednesday

We're heading into a calm and clear Tuesday. High pressure over the western United States will keep skies clear and temperatures warm through Wednesday. Thursday, a cold front will move in, bringing a big drop in temperatures along with afternoon showers. Showers and thunderstorms will be stronger over southwest Montana than north-central Montana. Rain will continue through Friday morning, but will move out for the weekend.

As high pressure builds again over the western United States, Labor Day weekend will be calm, dry, and warm. Monday could possibly usher in a few isolated thunderstorms, but the weekend will be an overall pleasant one.
