A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued for portions of north-central Montana until tomorrow afternoon.
A HIGH WIND WATCH will go into effect tomorrow for Hill, Liberty, and Blaine County through tomorrow evening.
After a beautiful sunny weekend, sunny skies will stick around today; enjoy it while you can because the ridge of high-pressure that dominated the forecast last week into the weekend will start to break down. Strong Chinook winds will be the driving force for temperatures continuing to climb.
Tomorrow record-breaking highs are possible. The temperatures will climb into the mid-60s for portions of eastern Montana. The combination of warmer temperatures and strong winds will heighten the fire concern for portions of southeast and south-central Montana.
Wednesday, a cold front will move across the region and that will allow the temperatures to drop. A mix of rain/ snow will fall in the mountains and at pass level and may even spill into the lower elevations of western and north-central Montana.
Have a great day,
A.R.😊
