A WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued for central and southwest Montana above 4000' for Wednesday afternoon into Friday.
Sub-freezing temperatures for waking up today. Mostly to partly cloudy skies, and the high temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s. The wind will make it's appearance today, but will not be as bad as Saturday's wind. The snow will move in tonight, into Wednesday for the higher elevations near west of the Divide. A few snow showers have not been ruled out for Helena and over central MT. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy, and late-night, a minor system will produce a mix of rain/snow showers that will carry on until Thursday. Thursday, the snow will start accumulating in the lower elevations. The mountains could be measuring accumulations in feet by Friday afternoon. If traveling through mountain passes, give yourself enough time to leave. Thursday will be cloudy, and the snow will continue into Friday.
Enjoy today's ☀️ skies,
Asia Raye😊
