HELENA — Two women are facing multiple charges in Lewis and Clark County after police say they assaulted a woman, damaged her car, and then led officers on a chase through Helena.

Court documents say the incident started around 2 a.m. Sunday in a parking garage near the Walking Mall.
Justice Teresa Conway-Griffith faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including assault with a weapon, fleeing or eluding a peace officer, DUI, and reckless driving.
Alicia Marie Munoz faces charges including felony accountability for assault with a weapon, fleeing or eluding a peace officer, assault, unlawful restraint, and DUI.
Officers say Conway-Griffith punched a woman in the face, breaking her nose.
The victim ran to her car in the garage, but authorities say Munoz drove behind her, blocking her in.
According to court documents, Conway-Griffith then used a baseball bat to smash two of the car's windows while the woman was still inside, and the woman suffered glass injuries to her eyes.
As they left, Conway-Griffith allegedly rammed the woman's car twice, causing more than $1,500 in damage.
Officers arrived and began pursuing the women. Court documents say they left the parking garage at a high speed, nearly hitting three pedestrians. The chase lasted about 12 minutes.
According to the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office the pursuit went southbound on Oro Fino Gulch and looped back to Grizzly Gulch where spikes were deployed.
Conway-Griffith eventually stopped and let Munoz out. Munoz ran to a nearby encampment, where sheriff’s deputies arrested her. Law enforcement later stopped Conway-Griffith and took her into custody.
Bond for both women was set at $50,000, and both are scheduled for arraignments in state district court later this month.
